Introduction:
This site is a free resource whose object is to make available texts for the teaching and study of historical material concerning the literary history of empire. The novels, short stories, autobiographies, and various genres of popular writing that will be included among the works circulated through this resource represent material that is generally out of print. LCZ's objective is to present these texts in attractive readable form, reproducing original editions, wherever possible, and providing contextual materials relevant to the authors, the works, and their imperial and colonial locations and circumstances.  Feedback & Contributions Welcome
